About Your Instructor
Annu Singh
My name is Annu Singh. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed. I have an extensive background in formal education as an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) in good standing since 2005. To further strengthen my knowledge, I completed Special Education certifications from the University of Toronto and Additional Qualifications from Queen's University. My experience has well equipped me to work with children of all ages and abilities. I have used my experience and applied Kumon's philosophy, which emphasizes independent study skills and self-learning.
Every child is different and I take great care and pleasure in catering to their individual needs and goals. Celebrating their successes alongside their families becomes my own pride and joy. Being a parent to my own two daughters, I understand the patience and encouragement required to instill strong fundamental skills and values early on.
At Kumon, we believe that mastering the basics and developing strong study habits will build the foundation needed for long-term educational success. We also celebrate the small wins along the way and acknowledge the achievements of our students in annual Award Ceremonies – these are highlights of the year enjoyed by all our families!
The Warden & Eglinton Kumon Centre has been 30 years in operation in this community and has seen many students complete the Kumon program and go on to achieve great things.
