Welcome to Kumon of Somerset - Easton Avenue.
Over the years, the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Somerset has worked with numerous families within our community. We are the proud sponsor of Franklin High School's school play and talent show, and are elated to be part of the student body. We are located next to the Somerset Diner, McDonalds, and Dunkin' Donuts on Easton Avenue. Please drop by and visit our center, we are happy to have you!
For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up, or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.
Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.
The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. Click here for more information about the Kumon Math Program.
The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. Click here for more information about the Kumon Reading Program.
Tablet Study : Kumon Connect
After years of delivering academic success through the Kumon Method, we’re delighted to introduce Kumon worksheets in a digital format via Kumon Connect. Now Kumon is even more accessible and convenient for students to complete their worksheets using a tablet and stylus.
- Just like the traditional method of Kumon, students attend class twice a week and receive homework the other five days.
- Students complete all assignments on their tablet with a stylus.
- Each daily assignment will be ready when the student signs in.
- Once assignments are complete, they can be submitted for daily grading. Grading is provided online by Kumon, parents don't have to grade the worksheets.
- Instructors can replay the work of completed assignments to see skill development and provide feedback even when the student has completed their work at home.
