About Your Instructor

Khalid Shaheen

Welcome! My name is Khalid Shaheen, and I am excited to be your Kumon Instructor. I am a certified teacher with a background in Chemistry and Biology and have experience teaching students from elementary through post-secondary education. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong study habits, and reach their full academic potential.

I believe every child can succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and individualized support. At our centre, my goal is to create a positive, welcoming learning environment where students become independent learners while developing strong skills in math and reading. I look forward to partnering with families and celebrating each student’s progress and achievements.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
