Gehane Saad-Gualtieri
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Kumon Centre of St. Thomas. I am so excited to bring Kumon into such an amazing growing community!
My journey with Kumon began 15 years ago when I found my daughter lacking the fundamental basics to advance with confidence in math. Her friends, however, were flourishing academically and exuded so much confidence in their math and reading ability. I later found out that they had been enrolled in Kumon. That’s when I decided to enroll my daughter. She quickly became more confident, independent and perseverant. She is now a successful university graduate.
As a teacher for 28 years, I have seen students lacking confidence and skill and also students who are not being challenged enough. Because the Kumon Method is an individualized program, it is developed to help all children reach their true potential. After seeing how much the Kumon philosophy aligned with mine, I decided that I wanted to become a Kumon Instructor. Seeing children working 2 or 3 years above their grade level was astonishing to me. I would love all children to have that opportunity to shine.
My goal is to use my teaching experience and my Kumon knowledge to create a positive learning environment and to help your child experience the joy of Kumon as they build confidence and develop a love of learning.
