About Your Instructor
Kenneth Chiu
After graduating with an engineering degree from the University of British Columbia, I built a corporate career spanning more than 20 years, delivering training and consulting while helping multinational organizations drive continuous improvement. Those experiences reinforced my belief that meaningful progress comes through consistent effort and steady improvement over time.
Alongside my corporate career, I also taught piano to students of all ages and levels, especially young children. Those years taught me that every child learns differently, and that patience, encouragement, and consistent practice can nurture remarkable growth. As a Kumon parent, I saw those same principles at work from a parent's perspective, inspiring me to become a Kumon Instructor.
Today, I develop individualized learning plans that help children progress with confidence at their own pace. Childhood is a precious window of development, and I am committed to helping each child unlock their potential through the Kumon Method while fostering independence and a lifelong love of learning.
