About the Centre

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Centre. For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program, click here.

Virtual/In-Centre 
Saturday 10:00am- 1:30pm

- for the benefit of students and families, we require a minimum of a 6 month commitment in order to see progress and to set up study habits
- please let us know one calendar month in advance if you wish to discontinue

Classroom Procedures
Please arrive at your scheduled time. If student arrives any later, they will be losing time as we must accommodate all students in the program.

The online sessions will mirror the classroom style learning environment.  Students will be grouped in our virtual classrooms.  To minimize disruption to other students, upon entering the virtual classroom:
- keep your microphone muted
- have your camera facing your worksheet
- if help is needed, select the "raise hand" function located in the menu (3 dots, or right side)

Each session will only be 30 minutes per subject.  Everyone will be asked to leave after this time to accommodate all the students in the program. If you need to change your scheduled time slot, please contact us.

Homework exchange days will remain the same as discussed at registration.
Both online and in-person students will exchange work every week on their class dates.
