Reduced Centre Capacity
- A comprehensive scheduling system has been implemented to maintain the physical distance standard of 2 metres within the limited classroom capacity. Each student is assigned an individual study area protected by flexi-glass. Students are expected to provide their own well-fitting masks and stationery.
Personal protective equipment for Kumon Staff
- Staff members are provided masks, full face shields and gloves and are fully trained in enhanced sanitization practices.
Enhanced Sanitization Practices
- All student surfaces are cleaned regularly and sanitized after use and remains empty for thirty minutes between occupants. The Centre undergoes a professional deep clean weekly. Answer books are heat sanitized between students, but the Reading Library remains closed at this time.
- High efficiency Merv 14 roof top air filters have been installed to capture airborne viruses and bacteria. Carbon dioxide levels are monitored to ensure that airflow exceeds minimum standards.
