Kumon is a structured program that gives your child the critical thinking skills and mindset to learn new materials independently. The keys to Kumon Programs are individualized instruction, carefully planned by an instructor, and practiced daily at home or in the Centre.

At Kumon, we’re committed to the safety of our community.

We have made some significant changes to our daily operations in order to ensure the well-being of all our students, parents and staff. We want you to feel confident in the fact that the safety of your children is our to priority.  

Some of our enhanced safety measures include:

Virtual Classes

-       Our Centre will continue to offer virtual sessions for families who are not yet ready to return to in-Centre classes. Whatever the situation, we believe that students learn best when the whole family is at ease.  Please see below for our complete list of both in-Centre and virtual class hours.

Reduced Centre Capacity

-       In order to adhere to all provincial restrictions and to ensure that physical distancing standards are maintained, we have implemented a comprehensive scheduling system and limited our classroom capacity. Each student studying in-centre will be assigned their own table.

Facemasks for Kumon Staff & Students

-       Per Municipal and Provincial guidelines, all students and staff are required to wear facemasks at all times in while in the Centre.

Enhanced Sanitization Practices

-       All surfaces will be regularly cleaned and sanitized. The Centre will also undergo a deep clean before opening on class days.

Whether it is through our virtual or in-person classes, we are working hard to ensure that your child can continue their education with as little disruption as possible.

• Reduce homework stress and test anxiety

Your child/children will complete an assessment that will give you:

• Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
• A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
