We offer the Kumon Math & Reading programs, and also Kokugo for Japanese speakers (Japanese language program).

We’re happy to announce that our Centre has resumed in-person classes as of July 6, 2020.

At Kumon, we’re committed to the safety of our community.

We have made some significant changes to our daily operations in order to ensure the well-being of all our students, parents and staff. Now that our Centre has reopened for classes, we want you to feel confident in the fact that the safety of your children is our top priority.  

Some of our new measures include:

Virtual Classes

Our Centre continues to offer virtual sessions. All students are enrolled under our hybrid model of once a week in person and once a week online with 5 days of assignments between classes. Prerequisite for online study is either a modern tablet device, smartphone, or laptop computer with HD camera resolution to connect with us online. Please see below for our complete list of both in-Centre and virtual class hours.

Reduced Centre Capacity

In order to ensure that safety practices outlined by WorkSafe BC, the BC CDC, and the Provincial Health Officer are maintained, we have implemented a comprehensive scheduling system and limited our classroom capacity. Each student studying in-centre will be assigned their own seat with partitions separating students from other students.

At the orientation, you'll find out how Kumon's unique approach to learning can help your kids:

Your child/children will complete an assessment that will give you:

• Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
• A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
