Experienced Kumon Instructor Opens Second Center in Community

Kumon of Berryessa – West Aims to Instill a Love of Learning in Area Students

– Sabitha Bellam has been a Kumon Instructor within the community in nearby Mountain View for over five years. She was first inspired to open a center after seeing Kumon’s positive effects on her children’s study skills and overall attitude about learning, along with their Instructor’s extreme care and thorough parent communication.

Bellam has since helped hundreds of students become confident, independent self-learners, and decided to expand her business to the San Jose community to do the same through Kumon of Berryessa - West.

“I’m a strong believer in the Kumon curriculum because I have seen the wonders it can work through my own children’s experience,” said Sabitha Bellam, owner and Instructor of Kumon of Berryessa - West. “I am excited to have the opportunity to fill learning gaps in even more area students, as well as help them to advance beyond grade level through Kumon.”

Becoming a Kumon Franchisee is an attractive business opportunity for many aspiring business owners with prior experience in education. Up to $36,000 in startup cost assistance is available to further assist new Instructors, along with an extensive network of support.
