Maintaining a consistent schedule for optimum performance:
We want to remind everyone that it is important for students to come in for consistent checkups in class to ensure that they are doing their assignments correctly and on a regular schedule. It is also vital to ensure that assignments are graded at home and that students are doing their corrections to avoid making the same mistake repeatedly. All students that are unable to attend a class and are scheduled to pick up a new package will have their package placed in the hallway for pickup. Any requests for mailbox must be picked up prior to the subsequent class to make sure that students have enough time to complete their assigned work and to allow room for the next class assignments to go in the mailbox for other students. If work is not picked up by the next scheduled class and we have not had any contact, we will automatically mark the student absent for the week and readjust assignments for their next scheduled class (according to their distribution day).

Kumon Connect
Students studying on Math Levels 6A-O and reading levels 7A-FII can now join our Digital Kumon program if they prefer that mode of study.Tablet study offers the same daily study of Kumon worksheets-just on a tablet!  Students use a stylus instead of a pencil and would attend classes as usual with their tablet and stylus.  All the marking of daily assignments is completed by Kumon Canada staff and students are recommended to switch to Kumon Connect if they are travelling, parents cannot commit to the daily marking or want immediate feedback.  Early Learner students can access the audio files on the digital platform as they do their daily assignments.
Requirements: students must have a tablet and a stylus (we have stylus’ available for purchase).
Please email us at [email protected] if you are interested in more information.

myKumon Portal
Parents now have a window into their child’s Kumon journey with the myKumon Portal. The myKumon Portal is replacing the paper progress reports and allows for an updated digital copy of student’s study progress and achievements in the Kumon Program. Key Features of the myKumon Portal include the Progress Tab: Keep track of your child's progress in real-time, with detailed insights into their ongoing progress including learning goals for the current and next level. Achievement Tab: Celebrate your child's accomplishments through a dedicated section highlighting their levels completed, milestones, and award status. Referral Program Tab: Learn about our referral program and explore opportunities to share the Kumon experience with friends and family. Resources: Access a wealth of tips and resources tailored to support your child's learning journey including audio files and more. The portal can also serve as a valuable resource to motivate your child since they too are encouraged to access it. It enables students to track their continual progress and acknowledge achievements arising from their hard work, fostering motivation among them. To access the myKumon Portal visit ca.mykumon.com and click on "Register here". Parents must register with the 13-digit Student ID(s) located on the student homework organizer under their name.

New homework pouches being issued:
We have an abundance of new homework pouches at the office and will be issuing new cases to all students with these newsletters. For students close to some milestone goals, (level D, level G, level J and level M), we will be issuing the new level cases in advance for some extra motivation in attaining these levels. You can recycle the old cases at home.
