Select Centres Offer
This Virtual Opportunity.
During virtual classes, students complete their Kumon worksheets at home while under the observation of Centre staff through a videoconferencing platform. Similar to our physical classroom, the purpose of our virtual classes is to observe students while working, give guidance or assistance when needed, share feedback on work, and provide the structure and motivation for successful progress.
CHOOSING VIRTUAL CLASSES MEANS:
- Convenience and flexibility to fit your schedule
- Easy access to the same proven Kumon Method
- Your child can study from home

IT’S SELF-LEARNING, NOT TUTORING
“The goal of the Kumon Method is, above all, to teach students to learn independently.”
One thing you’ll notice is that in the Virtual Classroom, the camera will most often be pointed at your child’s worksheet. Unlike tutoring, where a teacher is giving information to the student, your child’s Instructor is observing how they complete their work in order to provide specific guidance. The goal of the Kumon Method is, above all, to teach students to learn independently.
OBSERVING YOUR CHILD COMPLETE THEIR WORK WILL:
- Help the Instructor guide them to take ownership of their learning
- Allow the Instructor to individualize and fine-tune their lesson plan
"Kumon takes commitment and dedication from both parents and student but it is totally worth it! Our son’s final math grade increased by 30% and his mental math skills have also greatly improved!! Kumon has given my son the knowledge and confidence in math which he didn’t have before! I would recommend Kumon to all families looking to improve their child’s math skills!"
- Sara from Hamilton
"When my Sister-in-law encouraged us to try Kumon I first thought he was too young, and how can I get a 3yr old to sit in front of a computer screen and learn from a teacher he has never met. Well fast forward a few weeks later and it was the best thing I ever did. He listens to her, he is engaged and actually enjoys doing his homework."
- Kelly from Woodbridge
"Online classes were new to us but in comparison to school, Kumon offered the same consistent instruction and guidance just like in person in the Centre."
- Cristina from Newmarket
"6 Stars for all the hard-work, passion and commitment given even on an online platform."
- Reena from Oakville
